Alf Harvey
Alfred Harvey (5 July 1856 – 26 February 1943) was an English footballer who made one appearance for England as a full back in 1881. Identity Football historians have had difficulty identifying the precise name and details of A. Harvey who played for the Wednesbury Strollers and for England against Wales in the third international between the countries in February 1881. His first name (Alf or Alfred) was published in 1890, in 'Triumphs Of The Football Field' an autobiography by Aston Villa's captain Archie Hunter. Alexandra Meadows
Alexandra Meadows is the home ground of the East Lancashire Cricket Club in Blackburn. Between 1878 and 1881 the ground was used as the home venue for the Blackburn Rovers football team, following their move from the Pleasington Cricket Ground.
