Aleš Pařez (born April 9, 1981) is an ex-professional ice hockey player and strength & conditioning coach. Pařez began playing hockey in North America at Wyoming Seminary (Kingston, PA), a boarding school he attended for four years. After graduating high school, Parez spent time in two American Junior programs: first with the Bismarck Bobcats ( NAHL) and then with the Chicago Steel of the USHL. In his one and only season with Chicago, Parez managed more than 40 points in just over 60 games. Parez then played hockey at NCAA level for the University of Alaska Anchorage and featured in 120 games over the four years he spent there, totaling almost 80 points. After his university-level career ended, Parez went through an unsuccessful rookie camp of the Washington Capitals. Aleš Pajovič (born 6 January 1979) is a Slovenian retired handball player and current coach of the Austrian national team. Playing career Pajovič started playing handball at his hometown club RK Celje. He played his first senior game in 1997. Aleš Lamr (12 June 1943 – 16 February 2024) was a Czech visual artist. He presented himself as a painter, printmaker, author of murals and ceramic reliefs, sculptor and ceramist. Life Aleš Lamr was born the eldest son of three children in a family of stove-builders and ceramists, settled in Litovel over several generations. Kunaver was the longtime head of the Commission for Expeditions to Foreign Mountaineering, Commission for Expeditions to Foreign Mountaineers of the Alpine Association of Slovenia, member of the mountaineering society of Yugoslavia, representative of Yugoslavia to the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA), and a candidate for President of the Alpines Commission. Aleš Križan (born 25 July 1971) is a Slovenian retired footballer who played as a defender. Club career Križan most notably played in England for Barnsley having joined from Maribor. He played in the 1997–98 Premier League with the South Yorkshire club, appearing in 12 matches as a starter. Aleš Kotalík (born 23 December 1978) is a Czech former professional ice hockey right winger who played nine seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Buffalo Sabres, Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, and Calgary Flames.
