Alexis Copello
Alexis Copello (born August 12, 1985) is a Cuban triple jumper who since 2017 competes internationally for Azerbaijan. He has a (legal) personal best jump of . He is a World Championship medalist, having won the bronze at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics. He is 1.85 metres (6 ft 1 in) tall and weighs 80 kilograms (176 lbs). His international career began with success at regional level: he won a silver medal in the triple jump at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games and a bronze medal at the 2008 Central American and Caribbean Championships. The European Athletics Indoor Championships is a biennial indoor track and field competition for European athletes that is organised by the European Athletic Association. Phillips Idowu
Phillips Olaosebikan Idowu, (born 30 December 1978) is a British athlete who specialises in the triple jump. He is a former World Outdoor and Indoor, European Outdoor and Indoor, and Commonwealth triple jump champion. He was also a silver medalist at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Idowu is a member of the London-based Belgrave Harriers athletics club and has been for much of his career. Despite his successes, Idowu has at times been accused of inconsistency and of failing to fulfil his potential, including his disappointing failure at the London Olympics 2012. His championship record since 2008, especially his gold medal at the 2009 World Athletics Championships, has addressed some of these criticisms; the Olympic Games is the only major championship to have eluded him, with a silver medal in 2008. Leevan Sands
Leevan Sands (born August 16, 1981 Nassau) is a Bahamian triple jumper. His personal best jump is 17.59 metres, achieved in 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. This is the current Bahamian record and won a bronze medal. He also won bronze medals at the 2003 World Championships and 2002 Commonwealth Games. He went to High School at Florida Air Academy He was suspended from March 2006 to September 2006 for testing positive on the prohibited substance levomethamphetamine. The 2008 Central American and Caribbean Championships in Athletics were held at the Estadio Pedro Grajales in Cali, Colombia between 4–6 July 2008. A total of 44 events were contested, of which 22 by male and 22 by female athletes. During the three-day competition, six championship records were broken. The athletics competition at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games took place at the Estadio Pedro de Heredia in Cartagena, Colombia and lasted from July 25 to July 29. There were 23 events for men and 21 for women. A total of ten Games records were broken at the competition, in addition to a number of national records.
