Alexandru Manta
Alexandru Manta (born 7 June 1977 in Bucharest) is a Romanian former rugby union footballer. Career Manta spent the majority of his career in France, playing for USC Terrasson (1998), Stade Aurillacois (1998/02), Bègles-Bordeaux (2002/03), Section Paloise (2003/06), Castres Olympique (2006/07), CA Brive (2007/09), Lyon OU (2009/13), ROC La Voulte-Valence, La Voulte-Valence (2013/15) and CS Vienne (2015/16). Manta made his debut for Romania national rugby union team, Romania in 1996 against Belgium national rugby union team, Belgium, in an 83–5 win. Bucharest

The Rugby Europe International Championships is the European Championship for tier 2 and tier 3 rugby union nations. The tournament is split into 5 levels, each with 5 or 6 teams. Its highest level is now called the Rugby Europe Championship and, unofficially, referred to as the Six Nations B. All levels play on a one-year cycle, replacing the old format of a two-year cycle, with the teams playing each other both home and away. 2004–05 European Challenge Cup
The 2004–05 European Challenge Cup (known as the Parker Pen Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the ninth season of the European Challenge Cup, Europe's second-tier club rugby union competition below the Heineken Cup. A total of 28 teams participated, representing seven countries. The competition began with a series of matches on 23 October 2004 and culminated in the final at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford on 21 May 2005. As in the previous two seasons, the competition was organised in a knockout format. Teams played each other on a home and away basis, with the aggregate points winner proceeding to the next round. The EPCR Challenge Cup is an annual rugby union competition organised by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR). It is the second-tier competition for clubs based in European leagues behind the European Rugby Champions Cup.
