Alexandros Samodurov
Alexandros Samontourov (Greek: Αλέξανδρος Σαμοντούροβ; born April 20, 2005) is a Georgian–Greek professional basketball player for Panathinaikos of the Greek Basketball League (GBL) and the EuroLeague. He is a tall power forward. Early years and ''10 Academy'' Samodurov was born and raised in Evosmos, a suburb of Thessaloniki, Greece, to Georgian parents. He started playing basketball as a kid, joining Nikos Chatzivrettas's ''10 Academy'' at the age of 10. His first steps on the next level were made at the ''2019 Greek U16 Championship'', where he averaged 4.3 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal in 12 minutes, despite playing two years up, at age 14. His huge progress paid off in the 2021–22 season, where Samodurov's star shone in the ''Rising Stars'' tournament, organized by the Hellenic Basketball Federation, hosting U18 teams. Panathinaikos Football Club B, known as Panathinaikos B, (Greek language, Greek: ΠΑΕ Παναθηναϊκός B) was a Greek football club based in Athens, Greece. Founded in 2021, they played as the reserve team of Panathinaikos F.C., Panathinaikos in the Super League Greece 2. Greece Men's National Basketball Team
The Greece men's national basketball team () represents Greece in international basketball. They are controlled by the Hellenic Basketball Federation, the governing body for basketball in Greece. Greece is currently ranked 13th in the FIBA World Ranking. Greece have appeared nine times at the FIBA World Cup, with their best result coming in 2006 as runners-up, after beating the United States 101–95 in the tournament's semi-final. Greece have taken part in the EuroBasket 28 times, winning the tournament twice, while also coming away with one silver (1989), as well as two bronze medals (1949, 2009). Dimitrios Itoudis
Dimitrios Itoudis (alternate spelling: Dimitris) (, born September 8, 1970) is a Greek professional basketball coach who is currently the head coach for Hapoel Tel Aviv of the Israeli Premier League and the EuroCup. He formerly coached the Greece men's national basketball team. Coaching career Itoudis began his coaching career in 1990, when he began coaching Zagreb's Under-18 team in Croatia. Two-way Contract
A two-way contract is a professional sports contract that stipulates that an athlete's salary is dependent upon the league in which the athlete is assigned to play. This is opposed to a one-way contract that would pay the same salary regardless of where the athlete is assigned to play.
