Dommelen
Dommelen is a village in the southern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Valkenswaard, North Brabant. Dommelen derives its name from the little brook Dommel that runs through it. Having its clear water close at hand, Dommelen is mostly known for its beer brewery from which the brand name Dommelsch is derived. Its other main attraction is an old watermill. Dommelen was a separate municipality until 1934, when it was merged with Valkenswaard. The spoken language is Kempenlands (an East Brabantian dialect, which is very similar to colloquial Dutch). Dennis Nilsson (born 21 March 1976) is a Swedish darts player and former strongman. Career Nilsson qualified for the 2012 PDC World Darts Championship, where he lost 4–2 to Japan's Haruki Muramatsu in the preliminary round. He represented Sweden with Magnus Caris in the 2012 PDC World Cup of Darts and together they were beaten 3–1 by Belgium in the second round, having defeated Japan in round one. He progressed through to the last 16 of the 2013 World Masters and was defeated 3–0 by Danny Noppert. A win over Steve Lennon saw Nilsson claim the 2016 Finnish Masters. Glen Durrant
Glen Durrant (born 24 November 1970), nicknamed "Duzza", is an English former professional darts player who played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He previously won the BDO World Darts Championship three times consecutively from 2017 to 2019. He is also a one-time World Trophy, two-time World Masters and three-time Finder Darts Masters champion. After switching to the PDC in 2019, Durrant secured his maiden PDC major title by winning the 2020 Premier League. 2019 Dutch Darts Masters
The 2019 Dutch Darts Masters was the seventh of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2019 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at IJsselhallen, Zwolle, Netherlands, from 24 to 26 May 2019. It featured a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Michael van Gerwen was the defending champion after defeating Steve Lennon 8–5 in the final of the 2018 tournament. However, Ian White ended Van Gerwen's five-year winning run in the tournament by beating him 8–7 in the final to win his third European Tour title. The result also ended Van Gerwen's 28-game winning streak in European Tour last-leg deciders. PDC European Tour
The PDC European Tour is a series of darts tournaments held across Europe organized by the Professional Darts Corporation. Starting in 2012 with five events, the number of events has steadily risen with eight held in 2013 and 2014, nine in 2015, ten in 2016, twelve in 2017, thirteen in both 2018 and 2019, and thirteen once more in 2020 (although that was reduced to four, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic), and only two events took place in 2021, with a return to thirteen events in 2022. These events see the top players on the PDC ProTour Order of Merit compete against players from six different regional qualifiers. Currently the prize fund for each tournament is £140,000, with £25,000 going to the winner.
