Alexander Lewis (actor)
Alexander Lewis is an English-Australian operatic tenor and musical theatre actor who has performed in many countries. Early life and education Alexander Lewis spent the early years of his life in Hampstead, London, initially observing his opera-singer parents before eventually joining the St Albans Cathedral Choir at the age of seven. His father, the baritone Michael Lewis, is an opera singer and concert performer and his mother Patricia Price is a mezzo-soprano from Wales and the retired head of vocal studies and opera at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. His older brother, Ben Lewis, is known for his portrayals of The Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s '' Love Never Dies'' and ''The Phantom of the Opera''. A tenor is a type of male singing voice whose vocal range lies between the countertenor and baritone voice types. It is the highest male chest voice type. Matthew Aucoin
Matthew Aucoin (born April 4, 1990) is an American composer, conductor, pianist, and writer best known for his operas. Aucoin has been commissioned by the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the American Repertory Theater, the Peabody Essex Museum, Harvard University, and NPR's ''This American Life''. He was appointed as Los Angeles Opera's first-ever Artist-in-Residence in 2016. He is a 2018 MacArthur Fellow. Biography Aucoin was born and raised in the Boston area. James Levine
James Lawrence Levine ( ; June 23, 1943 – March 9, 2021) was an American conductor and pianist. He was music director of the Metropolitan Opera from 1976 to 2016. He was terminated from all his positions and affiliations with the Met on March 12, 2018, over sexual misconduct allegations, which he denied. Levine held leadership positions with the Ravinia Festival, the Munich Philharmonic, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
