Alex Mitchell (rugby Union)
Alexander Arthur David Mitchell (born 25 May 1997) is an English professional rugby union player who plays as a scrum-half for Premiership Rugby club Northampton Saints and the England national team. Club career His older brother James Mitchell is also a professional rugby union player who joined Northampton Saints from Connacht during the 2019 Rugby World Cup. Alex Mitchell was educated at Lymm High School. His other brother Jordan is also an exceptional scrum half and an excellent cricketer. During his time at Lymm, he played against Tom Curry and Ben Curry in the NatWest Schools Cup, where Lymm lost to Oundle School at the Quarter Final stage. Mitchell was formerly a member of the Sale Sharks system before joining the Northampton Saints academy in 2015. His debut season of 2017–2018 he made nine appearances for Northampton. Maidstone
Maidstone is the largest Town status in the United Kingdom, town in Kent, England, of which it is the county town. Maidstone is historically important and lies east-south-east of London. NatWest Schools Cup
The National Schools Cup (currently known as the Continental Tyres Schools Cup for sponsorship reasons) are a set of annual England, English schools' rugby union cup competitions, with the U18 Cup being the main competition. The finals of the Cup and Vase competitions are held at Twickenham Stadium, whilst finals for the Plate and Bowl competitions are held at another venue, usually of a RFU Premiership, Premiership Club. Cup and Vase Semi-finals are also held at a neutral venues. Competitions are held at the U18 and U15 age group levels. At each age level there are several competitions. 2017 Six Nations Under 20s Championship
The 2017 Six Nations Under 20s Championship, was the 10th series of the Six Nations Under 20s Championship, the annual northern hemisphere rugby union championship. Wales were the defending champions. The competition was won by England, who completed a Grand Slam by winning all their five matches. For the first time, the 2017 tournament used the bonus point system common to most other professional rugby union tournaments. As well as the standard four points for a win and two for a draw, a team scoring four tries in a match received an additional league table point, as did a team losing by seven or fewer points. The 2023–24 Premiership Rugby is the 37th season of the top flight of English domestic rugby union competition and the sixth to be sponsored by Gallagher. The competition was broadcast by TNT Sports for the eleventh year of their broadcast deal, with six league season games and the final also simulcast free-to-air by ITV. Highlights of each weekend's games were shown on ITV, with extended highlights on TNT Sports. This was the first season to be aired on TNT Sports since it rebranded from BT Sport in July 2023. The 2023–24 European Rugby Champions Cup is the tenth season of the European Rugby Champions Cup, the annual club rugby union competition run by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) for teams from the top five nations in European rugby and South Africa. The Premiership Rugby Cup is an English rugby union knockout cup competition for teams in Premiership Rugby and from the 2023–24 season the RFU Championship. It was created in 2018 to replace the Anglo-Welsh Cup after the withdrawal of the Welsh regions.
