Alex Mann (rugby Union)
Alex Mann (born 6 January 2002) is a Welsh professional rugby union player who plays as a flanker for United Rugby Championship club Cardiff and the Wales national team. Club career Cardiff Mann began playing rugby with local club Aberdare RFC. Mann was named in the Cardiff academy squad for the 2021–22 season. He made his debut for Cardiff in the second round of the 2021–22 European Rugby Champions Cup against , coming on as a replacement. Ahead of the 2023–24 United Rugby Championship season, Mann signed a development contract with Cardiff, before signing a senior contract on 17 January 2024. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic all the matches were played at Cardiff Arms Park, Cardiff. The 2024 Six Nations Championship (known as the Guinness Men's Six Nations for sponsorship reasons) was a rugby union competition that took place in February and March 2024, and featured the men's national teams of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. The England Under 20 rugby team are the newest representative rugby union team from England. They replace the two former age grade teams Under 19s and Under 21s. They compete in the annual Six Nations Under 20s Championship and World Rugby Under 20 Championship. The head coach of the team is, Alan Dickens.
