Alexandra Catherine Kerr (born July 23, 2001) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Serie A Femminile club Como. She played college soccer for the Vanderbilt Commodores and Texas Tech Red Raiders before being drafted by the Orlando Pride in the 2024 NWSL Draft. Early life and college career Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Kerr was raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She played multiple sports growing up, including basketball and tennis, before committing to soccer while at Chapel Hill High School. She set a single-season school record with 44 goals as a sophomore and scored 42 goals as a senior in 2019. She earned all-conference, all-state, and all-region honors and was the conference player of the year in 2019. The Orlando Pride are an American professional Association football, soccer team based in Orlando, Florida, that competes in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Thomas Fitzgerald Stone (born January 17, 1966) is an American former soccer player who is the current head coach of the Texas Tech women's soccer team. He played and coached soccer at the youth, collegiate and professional levels. Stone, a former graduate of Duke University and member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, held various coaching positions before coming to Tech. On December 14, 2019, Stone was honored as the commencement speaker at the Texas Tech Winter Commencement Ceremony.
