Alex Kendellen (born 3 March 2001) is an Irish rugby union player who plays as a flanker for United Rugby Championship club Munster. Early life Born in Cork, Kendellen attended Presentation Brothers College and captained the school to the final of the 2020 Munster Schools Rugby Senior Cup, scoring two tries in their 33–10 semi-final win against Limerick school St Munchin's College, though the final against Cork rivals Christian Brothers College was cancelled and the cup shared due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Munster Having already won representative honours with Munster under-18s and under-19s, Kendellen joined the Munster academy immediately upon leaving school in June 2020. Cork ( , from , meaning 'marsh') is the second largest city in Ireland and third largest city by population on the island of Ireland. Páirc Uí Chaoimh ( ) is a Gaelic games stadium in Cork, Ireland. It is the home of Cork GAA. The venue, often referred to simply as The Park, is located in Ballintemple and is built near to the site of the original Cork Athletic Grounds. The stadium opened in 1976 and underwent a significant two-year redevelopment before reopening in 2017. Primarily used as a venue for Gaelic games, it has been used to host Cork's home league and championship games in both Gaelic football and hurling. The 2021–22 United Rugby Championship was the twenty-first season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League. It was the first season that the competition is referred to as the United Rugby Championship, having previously been known as the Pro14. John Hodnett (born 10 January 1999) is an Irish rugby union player who plays as a flanker for United Rugby Championship club Munster. Early life and education Born in Rosscarbery, County Cork, Hodnett attended Mount Saint Michael's and first began playing rugby with Clonakilty, only committing to the sport when selected for the Munster under-18s club's team, having previously also played Gaelic games. Hodnett is studying PE teaching and maths at University College Cork and spent time on a teaching placement at Limerick school St Munchin's College. Castres Olympique () is a French rugby union club located in the Occitanian city of Castres and is currently competing in the top level of the French league system. 2021–22 European Rugby Champions Cup Pool Stage
The 2021–22 European Rugby Champions Cup pool stage was the first stage of the 27th season of European club rugby union, and the eighth under the European Rugby Champions Cup format. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic delaying the end of the 2019–20 tournament, twenty-four clubs from the three major European domestic and regional leagues competed in the Champions Cup on a one-year exceptional basis. Several round 2 matches between teams from France and the UK were postponed. This was due to new travel restrictions between the UK and France introduced by the French government on 18 December 2021. Fineen Wycherley
Fineen Wycherley (born 11 December 1997) is an Irish rugby union player who plays as a lock for United Rugby Championship club Munster. Early life Wycherley was born in Bantry, County Cork. At age 16, he moved to Cistercian College, Roscrea and was part of the team that won the Leinster Schools Rugby Senior Cup in 2015, beating Belvedere College 18–11 in the final and winning the trophy for the first time in the school's history. However, the following year Wycherley also tasted defeat in the competition, losing to the previous years beaten finalists, Belvedere, 31–7 in the final. Scarlets
The Scarlets () are one of the four professional Welsh rugby union teams and are based in Llanelli, Wales. Their home ground is the Parc y Scarlets stadium. They play in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup (which replaced the Heineken Cup from the 2014–15 season).
