Alex Clark is a British literary journalist and editor who has written for ''The Guardian'', ''The Observer'' and ''The Times Literary Supplement''. She also presents the programme '' Front Row'' on BBC Radio 4 and hosts the Vintage Podcast about books. Clark is Editor at Large at Union Books. Having previously served as deputy editor, she was appointed as the first female editor of ''Granta'' magazine in May 2008, in succession to Jason Cowley. Clark assumed the post in the following September, but left in May 2009. She was succeeded by John Freeman. Alex Clark (politician)
Alex M. Clark (March 22, 1916 – February 14, 1991) was an American politician. He became the youngest mayor of Indianapolis in 1951. He served one term and later ran again in 1967, losing in the primary to eventual winner Richard Lugar. He was a World War II veteran, and a former POW. In 1956 he and a number of friends formed the Wyoming Antelope Hunters Club in Indianapolis, which is still an active social club today. Prior to being mayor, Clark was a deputy prosecutor and judge in Marion County, Indiana. Alexandra Clark (born February 23, 1993) is an American media personality and podcast host associated with Turning Point USA. She hosts ''POPlitics'' and ''Culture Apothecary'', podcasts that cover conservative commentary, pop culture, and wellness topics.
