Alex Brosque
Alex Jason Brosque (; born 12 October 1983) is an Australian former professional soccer player who was the captain of A-League club Sydney FC. He played primarily as a striker but played predominantly as a midfielder in central midfield during his time in Japan. Club career Brosque was born in Sydney, Australia, to Uruguayan parents, who migrated to Australia in the 70s. In 2001 Brosque, aged 18, began his career playing for Marconi Stallions in the now-defunct National Soccer League. In three seasons at the club he made over 50 appearances and was considered one of Australia's best prospects having been voted NSL Under-21 Player of the Year for consecutive seasons in 2003 and 2004. His form at club and international level attracted international attention, and after the conclusion of the 03-04 NSL season Brosque signed for Dutch club Feyenoord Rotterdam. Bobby Despotovski
Slobodan "Bobby" Despotovski (born 14 July 1971) is an Australian soccer player who played 12 seasons in the top tier of Australian soccer. He played in National Soccer League (NSL) for Heidelberg United and Morwell Falcons before moving to Perth Glory where he played eight seasons in the NSL and two in the A-League. Archie Thompson
Archie Gerald Thompson (born 23 October 1978) is an Australian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is also currently serving as a club ambassador for Melbourne Victory FC. Born in New Zealand, Thompson played youth football at the New South Wales Institute of Sport before going on to play numerous seasons in the National Soccer League and A-League. After eleven seasons with Melbourne Victory, he moved on to play for Heidelberg United in 2016. Stewart Petrie
Stewart Petrie (born 27 February 1970) is a Scottish football player and coach, who is manager of Scottish League One side Montrose. A Left winger, he spent most of his playing career with Forfar Athletic and Dunfermline Athletic, later moving to Australia. Petrie returned to Scotland in 2007, playing for Ross County. He has since worked as a coach for several clubs, including Arbroath, Forfar Athletic, as well as then SJFA East Superleague side Broughty Athletic. The National Soccer League (NSL) was the top-level soccer league in Australia, run by Soccer Australia and later the Australian Soccer Association. Marconi Stallions Football Club is an Australian semi-professional association football club based in Fairfield, Sydney, New South Wales. The club has been crowned Australian champion four times. The Stallions are the soccer team of Club Marconi, a social and sporting club founded in 1956 by Italian immigrants who settled in Sydney's western suburbs.
