Alessandro Pierini (; born 22 March 1973) is an Italian retired Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football), defender, and is the assistant manager of Trapani Calcio. After playing for several clubs in his country, mainly Udinese Calcio, Udinese, he finished his professional career in Spain, where he represented Racing de Santander and Córdoba CF, Córdoba. Pierini won one Cap (sport), cap for Italy national football team, Italy, in 2001. Viareggio
Viareggio () is a city and ''comune'' in northern Tuscany, Italy, on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. With a population of over 62,000, it is the second largest city within the province of Lucca, after Lucca. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.
