Alessandra Flora (born 25 September 1975) is an Italian lyricist, composer and entrepreneur. SIAE records almost 50 songs in her name; her most important successes are those of Gianni Morandi, Raf (singer), Raf, Noemi (singer), Noemi, Nina Zilli, Malika Ayane and Emma Marrone. Biography She approached music, particularly the piano, at the age of 6. She graduated in law at the age of 23 and she began to travel to and from Milan, London and Rome. In 1998 she began to manage the family business. In 2000 she attended a course for authors and composers at Mogol (lyricist), Mogol's CET, and she began to collaborate with Mogol's son, Alfredo Rapetti, also known as Cheope: this collaboration's most important creation is the song "Dimmi adesso con chi sei"; the music was written by Alessandra Flora, but both Alessandra Flora and Cheope wrote the lyrics. Giuliano Palma & The Bluebeaters
Giuliano Palma and the Bluebeaters are an Italian band performing a mix of reggae, ska and rocksteady. Formed in 1994, the Bluebeaters comprises musicians of the Italian groups Casino Royale (Giuliano Palma, Ferdinando Masi, Patrick Benifei), of Africa Unite (Bunna, Paolo Parpaglione, Cato Senatore) and of the Fratelli di Soledad (Zorro). At the end of 2012 singer Giuliano Palma left the band to pursue his solo career. In September 2013 original band members (with Pat Cosmo on vocals) reunited as The Bluebeaters for a concert in Turin, Italy. Next December they did the first tour in years, ReTOURn, celebrating the band's comeback. In June 2014 The Bluebeaters released their comeback single "Toxic/Catch That Teardrop" on Record Kicks. A tour celebrating their 20th anniversary followed, with the band appearing in Italy as well as in European festivals.
