Alesia was the capital of the Mandubii, one of the Gaul, Gallic tribes allied with the Aedui. The Celts, Celtic ''oppidum'' was conquered by Julius Caesar during the Gallic Wars and afterwards became a Gallo-Roman town. Modern understanding of its location was controversial for a long time; however, it is now thought to have been located on Mont-Auxois, near Alise-Sainte-Reine in Burgundy, France. Owsla (stylized in all caps) is an American record label and creative collective. It was founded by Skrillex, Tim Smith, Kathryn Frazier, and Clayton Blaha in 2011. ''Helvetios'' is the fifth studio album by Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie. The album was released 10 February 2012 through Nuclear Blast. The Battle of Alesia or siege of Alesia (September 52 BC) was the climactic military engagement of the Gallic Wars, fought around the Gauls, Gallic ''oppidum'' (fortified settlement) of Alesia (city), Alesia in modern France, a major centre of the Mandubii tribe. Alesia Mikhaylovna Zaitsava (, ; born 14 August 1985) is a Belarusian badminton player. She competed for Belarus at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's singles event, but did not advance to the knock-out stage after being defeated by Petya Nedelcheva of Bulgaria and Adriyanti Firdasari of Indonesia in the group stage.
