Aleksey Kuznetsov (skier)
Aleksey Ivanovich Kuznetsov (russian: Алексéй Ивáнович Кузнецóв; 15 August 1929 – 28 March 2003) was a former Soviet cross-country skier who competed during the 1950s and 1960s, training in Gorodets at VSS Urozhai. Nordic Skiing World Championships
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships is a biennial nordic skiing event organized by the International Ski Federation (FIS). The World Championships was started in 1925 for men and opened for women's participation in 1954. World Championship events include nordic skiing's three disciplines: cross-country skiing, ski jumping, and nordic combined (the latter being a combination sport consisting of both cross-country and ski jumping). Olympic Valley (historically or informally known as Squaw Valley) is an unincorporated community located in Placer County, California northwest of Tahoe City along California State Highway 89 on the banks of the Truckee River near Lake Tahoe.
