Aleksandr Trofimov (actor)
Aleksandr Alekseevich Trofimov (, born 18 March 1952 in Moscow) is a Soviet and Russian actor of theater and cinema, Honored Artist of Russia (1992), People's Artist of Russia (2013), leading actor of the Moscow's Taganka Theatre. Biography Aleksandr Trofimov was born in a family that was in no way associated with the theater. Since 1969, he worked as a technician of the scene of an officer club in the Malinovsky Military Armored Forces Academy. Since 1971, he became head of the youth studio at the national theater of the silk factory in Naro-Fominsk. In 1974, he graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute and entered the troupe of the Taganka Theater. Trofimov chose this theater when he saw Vladimir Vysotsky in the play ''A Good Man from Sezuan''. On the stage of the Taganka Theater, the actor has been playing for many years and is engaged in a variety of performances. John Felton (assassin)
Lieutenant John Felton ( – 29 November 1628) was an English army officer who assassinated George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham by stabbing him to death in the Greyhound Pub at Portsmouth on 23 August 1628. Charles I of England trusted Buckingham, who made himself rich in the process but proved a failure at foreign and military policy. Charles gave him command of a military expedition against Spain in 1625. It was a total fiasco with many dying from disease and starvation. He led another disastrous military campaign in 1627. Buckingham was hated and the damage to the king's reputation was irreparable. Buckingham's assassination by Felton was widely celebrated by the English public even after Felton's execution. The Suicide () is a 1990 Soviet black comedy film directed by Valery Pendrakovsky, adaptation of the play of the same name by Nikolai Erdman. Plot The story follows Semyon Semyonovich Podsekalnikov (Sergey Shakurov), an insignificant man who lives off his weary wife, Maria Lukyanovna (Irina Byakova). One night, while performing a “pantomime” about liver sausage, his wife wakes to find him missing and assumes he is attempting suicide. Their neighbor, Kalabushkin (Leonid Kuravlyov), demands that Semyon hand over a nonexistent weapon, only to later plant a revolver in Semyon’s coat himself. The rumor of Semyon’s impending suicide spreads quickly among the residents of their communal apartment building, who insist he kill himself for some noble cause. Captain James Hook is the main antagonist of J. M. Barrie's 1904 play ''Peter and Wendy, Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up'' and its various adaptations, in which he is Peter Pan's archenemy.
