Aleksandar Višnjić
Aleksandar Višnjić ( sr-Cyrl, Александар Вишњић, born 20 March 1976) is a Serbian politician. He was the leader of Reformist Party which took part as an independent list in 2007 and 2008 parliamentary elections, but won no seats. He was a member of the Democratic Party (DS), but left in 2004/5. Reformist Party (Serbia)
The Reformist Party (, RS), also known as the Reformists (Реформисти / Reformisti) was a minor Niš-based regionalist political party in Serbia. It was founded and led by Aleksandar Višnjić, political activist, former member of Otpor! and Democratic Party (DS) and professor at Faculty of Medicine of the University of Niš. History The Reformists took part in the 2007 parliamentary election as an independent list and won no seats finishing the last with only 0.05 percent of vote or 1,881 votes. It is one of four parties that won less than 10,000 votes even though they had to submit exactly the same number of signatures in order to be able to run in the elections. 2007 Serbian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Serbia on 21 January 2007 to elect members of the National Assembly of Serbia, National Assembly. The first session of the new National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia was held on 14 February 2007. The elections enabled the coalition of DS; DSS & G17+ to continue. Electoral system The d'Hondt method was used to distribute parliamentary mandates following the election. Parties and coalitions had 10 days following the announcement of the final results to decide which candidates will take their allotted seats in parliament. Parties then had three months to negotiate a government. Parties registering as ethnic minority parties (options 8, 10, 14, 17, 19 and 20) did not need to surpass the 5% threshold to gain seats in the parliament, but instead needed to pass a natural threshold at 0.4%. Parliamentary elections were held in Serbia on 11 May 2008 to elect members of the National Assembly of Serbia, National Assembly. The election was held barely a year after the 2007 Serbian parliamentary election, previous parliamentary election. The New Face of Serbia (, abbr. NLS) is a List of political parties in Serbia, political party in Serbia. Miloš Parandilović has served as its president since its formation in September 2022. Parandilović was previously a member of the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia. Following Žika Gojković's decision to side with the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, Parandilović disassociated with Gojković and formed NLS.
