Aleksandar Tomash
Aleksandar Tomash ( bg, Александър Томаш; born 2 September 1978 in Veliko Tarnovo) is a Bulgarian football manager and former player. During his playing career as a defender, he made several appearances for CSKA Sofia, OFI Crete, Metalurh Zaporizhya, Cherno More Varna, FC Baku, Slavia Sofia, Beroe Stara Zagora and Etar 1924 Veliko Tarnovo. Coaching career After serving as assistant to Ivko Ganchev at Beroe during the 2012/2013 season, Tomash began his coaching career at Bansko, leading the team for 2 years, before moving to Lokomotiv GO. Vereya Stara Zagora On 10 June 2016 he was appointed as manager at the newly promoted to First Professional League team Vereya. The team finished on 10th position in the regular season and qualified for the Relegation Group A. Vereya finished 1st in the group and qualified for the European play-off. Veliko Tarnovo
Veliko Tarnovo ( bg, Велико Търново, Veliko Tărnovo, ; "Great Tarnovo") is a town in north central Bulgaria and the administrative centre of Veliko Tarnovo Province. Bulgarian Cup
The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. Stara Zagora ( bg, Стара Загора, ) is the sixth-largest city in Bulgaria, and the administrative capital of the homonymous Stara Zagora Province. The 2016–17 First Professional Football League is the 93rd season of the top division of the Bulgarian football league system, the 69th since a league format was adopted for the national competition of A Group as a top tier of the pyramid and also the inaugural season of the First Professional Football League, which decides the Bulgarian champion. The season is the first with a new league structure and strict financial criteria where 14 clubs play each other home and away, until the league is split up in championship and relegation playoffs. Beroe ( bg, Берое) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Stara Zagora, that competes in the First League, the top division of the Bulgarian football league system. Ivko Ganchev Ivanov ( bg, Ивко Ганчев Иванов; born 21 July 1965 in Stara Zagora) is a former Bulgarian football goalkeeper. He ended his career at the end of 1999–2000 season. He started his manager career with his home town club Beroe Stara Zagora. Career On the club level, Ganchev has played for Beroe Stara Zagora (1984–1989), Slavia Sofia (1989–1991), Bursaspor (1991–1999) and Çaykur Rizespor (1999–2000).
