Alejandro San Francisco is a Chilean historian. San Francisco was an advisor of Joaquín Lavín when he was minister of Education. Since 2014 he has also been a columnist for ''El Líbero'', a libertarian online newspaper. San Francisco was president of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile Students Federation (FEUC). San Sebastián University
Universidad San Sebastián (USS, St. Sebastian University) is a private autonomous Chilean university with its headquarters situated in Santiago de Chile. It is also located in Concepción (its previous headquarters), Valdivia, Osorno and Puerto Montt. It was founded in 1989, and later in 2001, ''USS'' gets a formal state recognition as ''University''. Joaquín Lavín
Joaquín José Lavín Infante (born 23 October 1953) is a Chilean politician of the Independent Democratic Union (UDI) party and former mayor of Las Condes, in the northeastern zone of Santiago. Formerly Lavín has also been mayor of Santiago, Minister of Education and Minister of Social Development. He ran for president twice in 1999 and 2005, losing both times. In 2021 he tried to run again, but this time he was defeated in a primary election by Sebastián Sichel.
