Alejandro Abad
Alejandro Antonio García Abad (born 22 September 1962 in Santiago, Chile), better known as Alejandro Abad, is a Chilean-born Spanish singer-songwriter and music producer, known for participating at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest. Biography During the second half of the 1980s, Alejandro Abad released three albums in Spain: ''Quédate con él'', ''Buscando tu destino'' and ''Confidencias'', the latter with label PolyGram. Later on, he composed songs for several Spanish artists, including his friend Dyango. Dyango entrusted Abad with the musical career of his son Marcos Llunas, whose first album was composed by Abad. Several songs from this album such as "Reconquistarte", "Hay algo en ti" or "Vale la pena" became hits in Latin America. In 1993 he composed the winning song of the OTI Festival held in Valencia, Spain, Valencia, "Enamorarse", sung by Ana Reverte. Anabel Conde
Ana Isabel Conde Sánchez (born 16 June 1975 in Fuengirola, Málaga) better known as Anabel Conde is a Spanish singer. She was chosen by Televisión Española to represent Spain in Eurovision Song Contest 1995, on 13 May in Dublin (Ireland). Anabel performed the song "Vuelve conmigo", written by Jose María Purón, finishing in second place after the Norwegian entry. She achieved the best position of Spain in Eurovision since 1979. Anabel Conde received 119 points. After her big success in Eurovision 1995, Anabel withdrew from the profession because of troubles with Jercar, her record label. However, the town of Fuengirola named a square in her honour.
