Alejandra Orozco
Alejandra Orozco Loza (born 19 April 1997) is a Mexican diver. In 2012, she participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics in the synchronized 10 metre platform event alongside world champion Paola Espinosa, winning a silver medal. At the age of 15, she became the youngest athlete to represent Mexico at the 2012 Olympic games. In 2021 she participated in the 2020 Summer Olympics in the synchronized 10 metre platform event alongside Gabriela Agúndez, winning a bronze medal. On June 6, 2024, the Mexican Olympic Committee, named to her and the olympic diver Emiliano Hernández as the flag bearers to the Olympic Games París 2024. Zapopan
Zapopan () is a city and municipality located in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Part of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, Zapopan is the largest city in the state. It's best known as the home of the Virgin of Zapopan, an image of the Virgin Mary made in the 16th century. This image has been credited with a number of miracles, has been recognized by popes, and was visited by Pope John Paul II. Sarah Schleper
Sarah Schleper (born February 19, 1979), also known as Sarah Schleper de Gaxiola, is an alpine skier whose career started in 1995. She competed for the United States in four Winter Olympics from 1998-2010, and later competed for Mexico at the Winter Olympics in 2018 and 2022. Career Her lone World Cup victory was at a slalom event in Switzerland in 2005. Her best finish at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships was seventh in the slalom event at Santa Caterina (near Bormio) in 2005. Schleper also competed in four Winter Olympics for USA, earning her best finish of tenth in the slalom event at Turin in 2006. Schleper was named to the US team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in late 2009. Emiliano Hernández Uscanga (born 27 January 1998) is a Mexican modern pentathlete. He won silver medal at the 2023 World Modern Pentathlon Championships and two gold medals at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games. Diving is the sport of jumping or falling into water from a Diving platform, platform or springboard, usually while performing acrobatics. The Mexican Olympic Committee () (COM) is the organization that represents Mexican athletes in the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Pan American Games and the Central American and Caribbean Games. Paola Espinosa
Paola Milagros Espinosa Sánchez (born 31 July 1986) is a Mexican diver and represented Mexico at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she was her national team's flagbearer, and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In 1987, the Espinosa Sánchez family moved to La Paz from Mexico City with Paola, who was barely nine months old. In Athens in 2004, from speciality platform jumps of 10 meters, she placed in the individual jump and fifth in synchronized jumps. In the synchronized jumps, she participated with Tatiana Ortiz, who was also an Olympic medalist.
