Aleighcia Scott
Aleighcia Scott is a Welsh–Jamaican reggae artist and presenter currently working for the BBC. She is the current host of Thursday Evenings on BBC Radio Wales. Scott is also a reggae singer. Early life Scott was born in Cardiff, Wales. She has family roots in Trelawny, Jamaica. Career Music Scott is a reggae artist who has worked with the likes of Salaam Remi (producer of Amy Winehouse & Fugees) and released music on the label, Pecking Records. Scott released her debut EP ''Forever in Love'' in April 2018. Her debut album, ''Windrush Baby'', was released in September 2023. A product of over 5 years work between Scott and producer RoryStoneLove; and released on his Black Dub label. Aleighcia was chosen to perform live at the 2024 Sky Arts Awards along with The Darkness, Slash and Brian Johnson, Ren, The Three Sopranos, and The Kanneh-Masons. Brian Johnson
Brian Johnson (born 5 October 1947) is an English singer and songwriter. In 1980, after the death of Bon Scott, he became the third lead singer of the Australian rock band AC/DC. He and the rest of the band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. In March 2016, he temporarily stepped away from the band during the Rock or Bust World Tour due to hearing problems. In September 2020, AC/DC officially confirmed that Johnson along with fellow band-mates Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams had returned in August 2018 to record the band's 2020 album, '' Power Up''. Huw Meredydd Stephens (born 25 May 1981) is a Welsh radio and television presenter, currently broadcasting on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio 6 Music. Stephens founded the Sŵn music festival with John Rostron and the yearly showcase Welsh Language Music Day. Ren Eryn Gill (born Ren Erin Gill, 29 March 1990), known professionally as Ren, is a Welsh songwriter, musician, rapper, producer, and director. He was a member of the indie hip-hop band Trick The Fox and The Big Push, a British busking band based in Brighton. In 2022, "Hi Ren", written and performed by Ren, was released. The video, by Ren and Samuel Perry-Falvey, went viral and appeared in both the United Kingdom and Worldwide Trending Music Video Charts on YouTube, and had 6.8 million views in two months.
