Alec Duckart
Alec Duckart (born March 2, 2000), known professionally as Searows, is an American singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon. Early life Duckart was born in Lexington, Kentucky, but he was raised in Portland, Oregon, where he currently resides. Of being raised in Oregon, Duckart said, "I feel like I’m very much stereotypically Pacific Northwest in my sound and whole vibe and interests. My parents played Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, the Decemberists and people who also write about Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. It’s very much influenced me a lot and it’s just great. I love Oregon. It’s beautiful." Duckart began making music in middle school, posting his songs to SoundCloud, and more recently, TikTok. He has been playing guitar since he was 11 or 12.
