Alcantarilla
Alcantarilla () is a town and municipality in southeastern Spain, in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia. The town is only 7 km away from the capital of the region, the city of Murcia, and one of its peculiarities is that it is completely surrounded by "pedanías" (satellite districts or boroughs) of the municipality of Murcia like Sangonera La Seca, San Ginés, Nonduermas, Puebla de Soto, La Ñora, Javalí Viejo and Javalí Nuevo. The town is part of a low-lying fertile plain rich in gardens, orchards and citrus fruits, known as the " Huerta", which includes the valleys of the river Segura and its right-hand tributary the Guadalentín or river Sangonera and is surrounded by mountains. The Huerta de Murcia is an administrative division (''comarca'') in Region of Murcia, Murcia, Spain. This natural region encompasses the lands irrigated by the Segura River and its various canals, from the ''Contraparada'' weir to the boundary of the Region of Murcia with the Valencian Community. Santomera
Santomera is a Spanish municipality in the autonomous community of Murcia. It has a population of 16,105 (2018) and an area of 44.2 km2. It shares borders with Fortuna in the north, with Murcia in its west and south and with the province of Alicante in the east. History Santomera has been inhabited by human beings since the Stone Age and former stone sculpt workplaces are the evidence of that fact. There was also human presence during the Chalcolithic and the Bronze Age along with people of the Argaric culture. Another people that stayed in the current municipality are the Iberians and constructed a town there. Abu Abdullah Muhammad al-Idrisi al-Qurtubi al-Hasani as-Sabti, or simply al-Idrisi (; ; 1100–1165), was an Arab Muslim geographer and cartographer who served in the court of King Roger II at Palermo, Sicily. The Visigoths (; ) were a Germanic people united under the rule of a king and living within the Roman Empire during late antiquity. The Visigoths first appeared in the Balkans, as a Roman-allied Barbarian kingdoms, barbarian military group united under the command of Alaric I.
