Alby is a suburb in Botkyrka Municipality within Stockholm. Alby has one of the 100 stations of the Stockholm metro system. Alby, a municipal area in Botkyrka, had a population of approximately 11,400 in 2011. Alby Centre Alby centre was renovated during the 1990s, creating a new square and more premises for entrepreneurs. During the year 2000, Alby Centre was repainted inside, and Alby's only heated garage received a substantial facelift. Alby Barlow
Alby Barlow (born 1916) was an Australian racing cyclist from 1935 who rode for Oakleigh. In 1947 he was the Australian 100 miles road champion and holder of the 25, 50 and 100 miles Australian unpaced road records. In 1935, his first year as a professional, Barlow was 9th in the Tour of Gippsland over off a handicap of 41'. He was then 4th in the Phillip Island Grand Prix over . In 1936 Barlow won the Melbourne to Sale on a handicap of 16'. He also rode the Warrnambool to Melbourne off a handicap of 9', finishing 50th. Despite his prominence as a road rider, Barlow never featured in the results of the Warrnambool. In 1947 he was part of a disappointing scratch group that finished 5' 26" down on the fastest time of Keith Rowley. Barlow won the opening event of the 1937 season, over in a course record. Alby James OBE FRSA (born 24 May 1954) is a British theatre director and a producer for film and television drama, screenwriter, script consultant and trainer, whose career spans more than four decades. Committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the industry, he has worked with broadcasters such as the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), as well as being involved with other development and mentorship schemes for writers, directors and producers. Barbara Alby (August 9, 1946 – December 9, 2012) was an American politician who lived in Fair Oaks, California and was a member of the Republican Party. Early life Barbara Alby was born on August 9, 1946 in the Town and Country area of Sacramento, California. She was the oldest of four siblings. Her father was a butcher in local grocery stores. Her parents divorced when she was 16 years old. She attended St. Philomene's grade school and Loretto High School. She then transferred to Encina High School. She was a member of the class of 1964, but did not graduate. Alby moved to Wisconsin with her second husband and she lived there for eight years. Henri Marie Camille Édouard Alby (5 November 1858 – 11 February 1935) was a French army general who served during the First World War. Following the armistice, he was appointed Chief of the Army Staff. Biography Henri was born in Marseille to Joseph Alby and his wife Hortense Pichaud. His brother was engineer Amédée Alby. In 1878, he started attending the School of Artillery and Engineering at Fontainebleau. After two years, he was commissioned as second lieutenant and assigned to the 1st Engineering Regiment. There, he served for a year before being promoted to lieutenant, and participated to the French conquest of Algeria during the pacification of the territories south of Oran. In 1883, his promotion to captain was followed by an assignment to the Engineering General Staff. He joined the Superior War School for two years in 1885.
