, simply known as Albirex Niigata (S), is a football club based in Jurong East, Singapore, which plays in the Singapore Premier League. The club is a satellite team of Albirex Niigata of Japan. Mostly the team is made up of university students from Japan and also academy players from J1 League. The club have won 6 league titles (including one unbeaten title), 4 Singapore Cup, 4 Singapore League Cup and 4 Community Shield. Former Albirex players who have gone on to forge decent J.League careers include former league 'Players of the Year' award winners, Atsushi Kawata (2016) and Tomoyuki Doi (2021), while Issey Nakajima-Farran even went on to play in Major League Soccer in the United States and Ilhan Fandi who went on to play for the Belgium 2nd division club, Deinze in Europe. Jurong East Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Jurong East, Singapore. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Albirex Niigata Singapore FC and Tanjong Pagar United. The stadium holds 2,700 people and was opened in 1998. Location The stadium is located in Jurong East, but it is closer to Chinese Garden MRT station. The 2021 Singapore Premier League (also known as the AIA Group, AIA Singapore Premier League due to sponsorship reasons) was the 4th season of the Singapore Premier League, the top-flight Singaporean professional league for association football, association football clubs, since its rebranding in 2018. The 2011 Singapore Cup (known as the RHB Singapore Cup for sponsorship reasons) starts in June 2011. It is the 14th staging of the annual Singapore Cup tournament. 11 S.League clubs and 5 invited foreign teams play in this edition. The cup was a single-elimination tournament, with all sixteen teams playing from the first round. The first round involved one-off matches. Subsequent rounds involved ties of two legs. is a former Japanese Association football, football player and manager. He is currently the assistant manager of J1 League club, Kyoto Sanga FC, Kyota Sanga. Playing career Urawa Red Diamonds Sugiyama was born in Takatsuki, Osaka, Takatsuki on October 27, 1971. After graduating from Osaka University of Commerce, he joined Urawa Red Diamonds in 1994. He became a regular player as a left back in the first season.
