Albin Boija (born 20 August 2003) is a Swedish college ice hockey goaltender for the University of Maine of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Playing career College Boija began his college ice hockey career during the 2023–24 season. During his freshman year he appeared in 18 games, with 16 start, and posted a 10–6–1 record, with a 2.01 goals against average (GAA) and a .916 save percentage. His missed the 2024 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey tournament due to illness. During the 2024–25 season, in his sophomore year, he appeared in 37 games and posted a 23–8–6 record, with a 1.82 GAA and a .928 save percentage. He ranked fifth overall in the NCAA in GAA, and wins, and fourth in shutouts (4). 2004 Hockey East Men's Ice Hockey Tournament
The 2004 Hockey East Men's Ice Hockey Tournament was the 20th tournament in the history of the conference. It was played between March 11 and March 20, 2004. Quarterfinal games were played at home team campus sites, while the final four games were played at the Fleet Center in Boston, Massachusetts, the home venue of the NHL's Boston Bruins. By winning the tournament Maine received the Hockey East's automatic bid to the 2004 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. Format The tournament featured three rounds of play. 2025–26 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Season
The annual NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament is a college ice hockey tournament held in the United States by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to determine the top men's team in Division I. The Division I AHCA All-American Teams are an annual honor bestowed by the American Hockey Coaches Association to the college hockey players judged to be the top performers in their division. Each team is composed of at least one goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards on ice hockey programs. At least one all-star team has been named by the since the start of NCAA tournament play in 1947–48 after the conclusion of either the regular season or the conference tournaments. American Hockey Coaches Association
The American Hockey Coaches Association was formed in 1947 in Boston. The founding members coached college ice hockey but membership has grown to include coaches at every level of the sport from youth hockey to professional ice hockey, although the organization maintains a focus on the collegiate game. The All-Hockey East Teams are composed of all players from teams that are members of Hockey East, an NCAA Division I hockey-only conference. Each year, from the 1984–85 season onward, at the conclusion of the Hockey East regular season, the head coaches of each team vote for players to be placed on each all-conference team. The First, Second, and Rookie Teams have been named in each ECAC Hockey season, except for 1985–86, in which no Rookie Team was named.
