Alberto Pomini (born 17 March 1981) is an Italian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for SPAL. Career Early career Born in Isola della Scala, Veneto, Pomini started his professional career at Verona. After graduating from Primavera under-20 reserve team in 2001, Pomini left for San Marino Calcio in co-ownership deal. In the first season he was the understudy of Fabio Fabbri. Pomini played half of the game of 2002–03 Serie C2. He shared the starting role with Giovanni Vecchini. In June 2003 Verona gave up the remain 50% registration rights to San Marino Calcio. Marco Piccioni (born 25 January 1976) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder. Career Early spells in Lega Pro Born in Rome, Lazio, Piccioni started his career at hometown club S.S. Lazio. Davide Bassi (born 12 April 1985) is an Italian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Sarzana, Liguria, Bassi was a product of Empoli's youth system, joining the team in 2002, but started his professional career at Tuscan club Massese in 2003. In 2005, he returned to Empoli in a co-ownership deal. Bassi formally returned to Empoli on 1 July 2006. Walter Bressan (born 26 January 1981) is a former Italian professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Playing career After starting his career as part of the Atalanta youth system, Bressan subsequently moved to the lower leagues, playing at Serie B level for Arezzo, Grosseto, Sassuolo and Varese. 2007–08 Serie C1
The 2007–08 Serie C1 season was the thirtieth football league season of Italian Serie C1 since its establishment in 1978. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, played from September 2007 to May 2008, and the playoff phase from May to June 2008. The league was composed of 36 teams divided into two divisions of 18 teams each, whose teams were divided mainly according to geographical principles. Teams finishing first in the regular season, plus one team winning the playoff round from each division were promoted to Serie B; teams finishing last in the regular season, plus two relegation playoff losers from each division, were relegated to Serie C2.
