Alberto Agra (born April 7, 1963) is a Filipino lawyer who previously served as acting Justice secretary of the Republic of the Philippines. He also serves as president of Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation. Career Agra was appointed by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo as acting solicitor general and acting justice secretary in 2010. Three years later, the Supreme Court declared his dual appointment as unconstitutional. During his tenure as justice secretary, he dropped charges against two suspects in the Ampatuan massacre case, ARMM governor Zaldy Ampatuan and his brother Akmad Ampatuan. His department also failed to protect Suwaib Upham, a key witness and self-confessed participant in the massacre who sought witness protection and was later murdered in Maguindanao. Rodrigo Roa Duterte (, ; born March 28, 1945), also known as Digong, Rody, and by the initials DU30 and PRRD, is a Filipino lawyer and politician who served as the 16th president of the Philippines from 2016 to 2022. Zaldy Uy Ampatuan (born August 22, 1967) is a Filipino convicted mass murderer and former politician. He is one of the main perpetrators of the Maguindanao massacre along with his father, brothers, and nephews. He served as governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) from 2005 until his suspension in 2009 due to his role in the massacre. Ampatuan Massacre
The Maguindanao massacre, also known as the Ampatuan massacre, named after the town where mass graves of victims were found, occurred on the morning of November 23, 2009, in the town of Ampatuan in then-undivided Maguindanao (which is now Maguindanao del Sur) province, on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. The 58 victims were on their way to file a certificate of candidacy for Esmael Mangudadatu, vice mayor of Buluan, when they were kidnapped and later killed. The Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation, Inc. (POSF; d.b.a. Obstacle Sports Pilipinas) is the governing body for the sport of obstacle racing in the Philippines.
