Albert Lewis (American Football)
Albert Ray Lewis (born October 6, 1960) is a former American football cornerback who played in the National Football League for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders. Early life and career Lewis was a third-round draft pick (61st overall) by the Chiefs in the 1983 NFL Draft. His career spanned 16 seasons in which he recorded 42 interceptions, 12.5 sacks, 13 forced fumbles, 13 fumbles recoveries and 2 touchdowns. In addition to his play on defense, Lewis blocked 11 kicks in 11 seasons with the Chiefs. Lewis was named the Chiefs MVP for the 1986 season after he recorded 69 tackles (61 solo), four interceptions, two fumble recoveries, one sack and one blocked punt. During his time in Kansas City, the Chiefs made the playoffs five times. This included an appearance in the 1993 AFC Championship game. Albert Lewis (producer)
Albert E. Lewis (15 March 1884 – 5 April 1978) was a Polish-born Broadway and film producer. His family emigrated to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York when he was a boy. He became a vaudeville comedian, then started a partnership producing one-act plays for vaudeville. Around 1930 he moved to Hollywood and worked as a film producer with Paramount, RKO, and MGM until after World War II. Early years Albert E. Lewis was born on 15 March 1884 in Kolno, Poland, then part of the Russian Empire. His parents were Nathan and Ida Lewis. The family was Jewish. They settled in Manhattan's Lower East Side. Albert E. Lewis attended public high school in New York City. He was an actor from 1909 to 1913. He would perform "Dutch" comedy skits in vaudeville shows. Albert Buell Lewis (June 21, 1867 – October 10, 1940) was the first American anthropologist to conduct a systematic, long-term field study in Melanesia, A. B. Lewis is best remembered for the collection and documentation of over 14,000 Melanesian objects gathered in the colonial territories of Melanesia during his time as the leader of the Joseph N. Field South Pacific Expedition from 1909 to 1913. This extensive collection and documentation is now housed at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, Illinois. Early life A. B. Albert Lewis ( 1884 – Unknown) was an English professional footballer who played as an inside-left in the English Football League and Southern League. Career Born in 1884, in Wolverhampton, Lewis joined Stafford Rangers in 1902 and transferred to Second Division club West Bromwich Albion in June 1904. He made his Football League debut at Burnley in September 1904, scoring a hat-trick in a 4-1 win. He made 29 appearances for The Baggies, scoring 6 goals before joining Birmingham & District Junior League club Coventry City for £50 in June 1906 where he was described by the '' Coventry Evening Telegraph'' as the club's best player of the era. Albert Edward Lewis (20 January 1877 – 22 February 1956), known as Talbot Lewis, was an English first-class cricketer who played for Somerset between 1899 and 1912. He reappeared for Somerset in one match after the start of the First World War in August 1914, although he played under an assumed name, A. Key. An allrounder, Lewis was a middle to lower order batsman and right-arm fast-medium pace bowler.
