Albert Côté
Albert Côté (19 January 1927 – 18 April 2020) was a Canadian forestry engineer and politician. Biography Côté earned degrees in surveying and forest engineering from Université Laval. He began his career working for the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in 1952. He then worked for the Quebec Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources until 1965. In 1965, he began directing forestry operations at Manicouagan and Aux Outardes River Basin Forest Recovery Office, then became president. He held this position until the organization was replaced by the state-owned REXFOR company in 1964. He then became president and CEO of REXFOR in 1979. He became an assistant deputy minister at the Quebec Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in 1979, then President of Scierie des Outardes, a joint venture between REXFOR and Quebec & Ontario Paper Co., from 1980 to 1983. Robert Bourassa
Robert Bourassa (; July 14, 1933 – October 2, 1996) was a Canadian lawyer and politician who served as the 22nd premier of Quebec from 1970 to 1976 and from 1985 to 1994. A member of the Liberal Party of Quebec, he served a total of just under 15 years as premier. Bourassa's tenure was marked by major events affecting Quebec, including the October Crisis and the Meech Lake and Charlottetown Accords. He was a member of the Liberal Party of Quebec and was the 25th premier of Quebec for nine months in 1994 until his party's defeat in the provincial general election.
