Alaya Deepam
''Alaya Deepam'' () is a 1984 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language Drama (film and television), drama film directed by C. V. Sridhar and produced by K. R. Gangadharan. The film stars Sujatha (actress), Sujatha, Rajesh (Tamil actor), Rajesh, Suresh (actor, born 1963), Suresh and Ilavarasi. It was released on 6 July 1984. The film was remade in Telugu language, Telugu under the same title in 1985 with Sujatha, Suresh, Ilavarasi and Y. G. Mahendran reprising their roles. Plot Cast Soundtrack The soundtrack was composed by M. S. Viswanathan, with lyrics by Vaali (poet), Vaali. Reception Subha (writers), Jayamanmadhan (a duo) of ''Kalki (magazine), Kalki'' praised the acting of actors and they concluded the review by advising Sridhar that he can think and make films after watching films releasing in present times. Sujatha (actress)
Sujatha (10 December 1952 – 6 April 2011) was an Indian actress who performed and starred in a variety of unique characters in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films- in addition to few in Kannada and Hindi languages as well. The actress was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. After starring in numerous Malayalam films in her mother-tongue, Sujatha later got introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander and producer P.R. Govindarajan as a protagonist in her first Tamil film, '' Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' (1974). It was a critically acclaimed film and launched the actress's first commecrical breakthrough in her acting career. She died of a cardiac arrest on 6 April 2011 in Chennai (aged 58). Typist Gopu
Gopalarathnam, known by his stage name Typist Gopu, was an Indian actor known for comedy and supporting roles. He acted in over 600 stage plays and 400 films. Career A native of Manakkal, Lalgudi in Trichy district, Gopalarathnam was active in college dramas during his B. Com. from Vivekananda College, Chennai and got introduced to the stage through his friend Nagesh in his drama troupe in 1955. In the 1959 play ''Nenje Nee Vaazhga,'' he played the role of a typist, which was praised and he got his name "Typist" Gopu. In 1965, he made his film debut in K. Balachandar's movie '' Naanal'' and went on to act alongside major actors in the period. He later joined Y. G. Mahendran's United Amateur Artists. Subha (writers)
Subha is the name used by the writing partnership of D. Suresh and A. N. Balakrishnan, who write stories, detective novels and screenplays in Tamil. Work The duo began co-authoring stories when they were in college together, and have been publishing their work since 1979. They have published more than 450 short novels and more than 400 short stories. Most of their detective novels feature the characters Narendran and Vaijayanthi of Eagle Eye Detective Agency, and their coworker John Sundar. Other characters created by Subha are Selva and Murugesan, who also feature in their detective stories, and John Sembaruthi, who is a character in some of Subha's novels set in the army. Vani Jairam (born Kalaivani; 30 November 1945 – 4 February 2023) was an Indian playback singer in Indian cinema.
