Alaudin Laila
''Alaudin'' is a 2003 Indian Tamil language action drama film directed by Ravi Chakravathy. The film stars Prabhu Deva and Ashima Bhalla with Raghuvaran playing the main antagonist. The film was released on 15 August 2003 after many delays. Plot Alaudin (Prabhu Deva) is a slum man and orphan with a golden heart who fights against injustice faced by his fellow slum dwellers. The people of Alli Kuppam bring him up. To fulfil the day-to-day needs of the poor, Alaudin decides to steal from rich people. His main enemy is the scheming and powerful Gangadhar (Raghuvaran). Prabhu Deva (born 3 April 1973) is an Indian dance choreographer, film director, producer and actor who has worked predominantly in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada language films. Chitti Babu ( ta, சிட்டி பாபு; a.k.a. Sajjiah Adeebh, 10 January 1964 – 8 November 2013) was an Indian Tamil comedian, presenter and actor who prominently played supporting roles in Tamil cinema. Mahalakshmi Iyer is an Indian playback singer, best known for her Hindi, Assamese and Tamil songs. She has sung in many other Indian languages as well, including Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati and Kannada. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. Ranjith K. Govind (born 21 February 1977), also known as K.G. Ranjith, is an Indian playback singer, working in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries and has sung more than 2500 songs. Yugabharathi is a Tamil poet and lyricist. His birth name was "Santhanam Desan" and he was known as "Santhanam" by his family and friends. Aruldoss is an Indian actor who has appeared in supporting roles in predominantly Tamil language films. Prior to focusing on an acting career, he worked as a cinematographer for several films.
