Alana Woodward
Alana Woodward (born 13 July 1990) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for Sydney in the AFL Women's (AFLW). She has previously played for Richmond and St Kilda in the AFL Women's (AFLW). AFLW career Woodward signed with Richmond during the 2019 expansion club signing period in September. She made her debut against at Ikon Park in the opening round of the 2020 season. In June 2021, Woodward was delisted by the club, along with Phoebe Monahan. A week later, she was signed by St Kilda as a delisted free agent. At the end of the season, she was delisted by St Kilda. The following month, she was signed by expansion club Sydney as a delisted free agent. Victorian Football League
The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). It includes teams from clubs based in the eastern states of Australia: Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and includes reserves teams for the east coast AFL clubs. The league evolved from the former Victorian Football Association (VFA), and it has been known by its current name since 1996. Richmond Football Club (AFLW) Players
The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Between its inception in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 1885 and 1907, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning two premierships. Phoebe Monahan (born 3 July 1993) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Greater Western Sydney, Richmond and Brisbane in the AFL Women's (AFLW). She won a premiership with Brisbane in 2023. Early life and state-league football Monahan hails from the regional Victorian city of Geelong, where she played school football with Clonard College. At age 18, Monahan began playing with the North Geelong Football Club in the Victorian Women's Football League where she remained for three seasons.
