Alamgir Hasan
Alamgir Hasan (; born 3 October 1971) is a retired Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as a right back. During his career he was well known for taking long throw-ins which influenced his teams attacks. Club career Alamgir's football journey started with the prestigious 4 feet 10 inches tournament and the Dhaka Ershad Cup. After doing well in such tournaments, he joined Barisal Abahani. In the Barisal League title deciding match against Barisal Mohammedan, many players from the main brach, Dhaka Abahani were invited to play for the Barisal-based side. After the game Alamgir was invited to join the First Division League club. In late 1987, he started practicing with Abahani's junior team, and in 1989 he was promoted to the senior team. In the 1991 BTC Club Cup final against Mohammedan SC, Alamgir's long throw-in lead to Golam Gauss scoring the winner. Barisal ( or ; , ), officially known as Barishal, is a major city that lies on the banks of the Kirtankhola river in south-central Bangladesh. Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup or simply Fed Cup , is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's Bangladesh Premier League (football), premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past. Most of the matches are played in the country's main football venue National Stadium, Dhaka. Sait Nagjee Football Tournament
The Sait Nagjee All India Football Tournament was an invitational Association football, football tournament held in Kozhikode, Kerala. The tournament was very popular from the beginning and attracted large crowd since 1952. The tournament was played until 1995, though with stoppages a couple of times. In 1995, the tournament was won by JCT F.C., JCT Mills. Since then, there was a gap of 21 year during which the tournament was not held. The tournament was revived again in 2016 Sait Nagjee Trophy, 2016 with clubs from different parts of the world and Argentina national under-23 football team. Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho was the brand ambassador for the tournament.
