Alabama Airborne
The Alabama Airborne are a professional American football team based in Mobile, Alabama. The team is member of the Major League Football (MLFB), a public traded professional football league, and plays its home games at Ladd–Peebles Stadium. The Airborne are part of the league "Core Four" teams. They are the first pro football team in Mobile since the Regional Football League Mobile Admirals. History On March 18, 2022, MLFB launched a new website and revealed that there will be only four teams for the first season. The Airborne weren't part of the initial announcement, as the plan was to put a team in Texas (Texas Independence) but after the league couldn't secure a stadium deal on time, they changed their plans and relocated the team to Mobile, Alabama six weeks before the start of the training camp. Major League Football (MLFB) is a proposed professional American football minor league consisting of teams that are all league-owned and Major League Football, Inc., is a publicly traded company. MLFB will operate on a strict budget, well under the Alliance of American Football, USFL and the XFL operating budget, while it plans to be a developmental league similar to the NBA G League or Triple-A baseball. Kim McCloud
Kim McCloud (born May 8, 1968) is an American football coach and former defensive back who is currently a Defensive Analyst for the University of Montana. He was previously the cornerbacks coach at Syracuse University and then interim cornerbacks coach at the University of Hawaii. Playing career McCloud played college football at Hawaii from 1987 to 1990. During his time at Hawaii, he earned an honorable mention in All- WAC honors, as was also named a All-WAC academic selection in 1990.
