Al-Wehda FC () is a multi-sports club based in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. If the club's establishment date is considered with the old name, this makes it the oldest club in the Kingdom. Al-Wehda were the first ever winners of the King's Cup in 1957. The King Abdulaziz Sports City () is a multi-purpose stadium in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the holy capital. It is the largest stadium in Mecca and used mainly for Association football, football matches. The stadium holds 38,000 people, and is the home ground of Al-Wehda Club (Mecca), Al-Wehda. The stadium was temporarily used by Jeddah clubs Al-Ittihad Club (Jeddah), Al-Ittihad and Al Ahli Saudi FC, Al-Ahli during the construction of stadiums in Jeddah, on account of the Mecca-based stadium's proximity to Jeddah. Saudi Crown Prince Cup
The Saudi Crown Prince's Cup () was the oldest Saudi Arabian annual cup competition. History The cup was the oldest and first domestic football competition in Saudi Arabia; the first edition was held in 1956–57; five editions were played between regional teams and were not at the club level; the cup was not held in a lot of periods (1965-66'', ''1970-1972'', ''1975-1990). In its last years, the competition consisted of teams from the top two tiers of Saudi league football Saudi Pro League and Saudi First Division League. In 2017, it was abolished. Alexandru Crețu (; born 24 April 1992) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or a centre-back for Saudi Pro League club Al-Wehda. Club career Crețu came into prominence during the 2012–13 Liga I season, following his good performances as a central defender at CSMS Iași. Al-Ettifaq Club (), commonly known as Al-Ettifaq or simply Ettifaq, is a professional football club in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, which competes in the Saudi Pro League. In association football, a penalty shoot-out (previously known as kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a tie (draw), draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time (if used) has expired.
