Al-Taibah Sports Club () is a Jordanian football club based in Taibah, Jordan. It currently competes in the Jordanian Second Division League, the third tier of Jordanian football. History Al-Taibah hosts a list of sports, including football, but also in kickboxing. On 3 January 2012, Raafat Al-Qar'an was reelected as president of the club. On 14 October 2014, Al-Taibah found itself to be in the middle of a riot against the fans of Sahab. On 17 May 2016, it was Hamida Al-Batoush retained the presidency of Al-Taibah Club. Jordanian Second Division League
The Jordanian Second Division League () is a football league that is the third tier of the Jordanian football league system. Al-Tura are the most recent champions in the 2024 season. Format The league consists of 16 teams divided into two groups. The first and second placed teams in each group qualify to the semi-finals, in a two-legged tie. The winner and runner-up are directly promoted to the Jordanian First Division League. The bottom two clubs are relegated to the Jordanian Third Division League. 2023 Jordanian Second Division League
The 2023 Jordanian Second Division League started on 7 September 2023 and concluded on 24 November 2023. The league featured 10 teams from the 2023 campaign, two new teams relegated from the 2023 Division 1: Al-Turra and Alia, and three new teams promoted from the 2023 Jordanian Third Division: Arhaba, Shabab Hauran and Shabab Um Al-Sarab. Doqarah won the league title, but had originally been handed relegation to the Third Division League by the Jordan Football Association. Al-Karmel was promoted to 2024 Jordanian First Division League along with Jerash. Bala'ama, Marj Al-Hamam and Wadi Al-Rayan also got relegated to the Third Division League. On 27 December 2024, the JFA reversed their decision on Doqarah, and confirmed that they would participate in the First Division League. The sport of football in the country of Jordan is run by the Jordan Football Association. The association administers the national football team as well as the Jordan League. History Football in Jordan was introduced during the time of the Ottoman Empire, when Jordan/ Transjordan was part of that empire. Kufrsoum Sports Club () is a Jordanian football club which is based in the village of Kufr Soum, Jordan. It currently competes in the Jordanian First Division League, the second tier of Jordanian football. History Kufrsoum Sports Club was established in 1973, when a group of young people from the village of Kufr Soum sought to establish a sports club, to which the club began its activities in football, handball, volleyball, athletics, and table tennis once they were granted approval. It played its first competitive match in 1975 against Al-Wehdat in the Second Division. It gained its first promotion to the First Division in 1993.
