Shabab Club also known as Al-Shabab () is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Riyadh that competes in the Saudi Pro League. Founded in 1947 as ''Shabab Al-Riyadh'' (; ), it was renamed ''Al-Shabab'' in 1967. Bahrain National Stadium
Bahrain National Stadium (; Arabic transliteration, transliterated: Stād al-Bahrayn al-Watanī) is the national stadium of Bahrain, located in Riffa. It can accommodate 24,000 spectators and is used mostly for Association football, football matches. It was built in 1982 and renovated in December 2012 for the 21st Arabian Gulf Cup. Pope Francis held a holy papal mass on November 5, 2022, in the Bahrain National Stadium, which was temporarily refitted to accommodate the event. The mass was attended by members of the public and was conducted in the presence of Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King Hamad bin Isa Alkhalifa. A temporary center-stage was set up in the stadium to host the Pope and the King during the mass. This marked the first time that a pope had conducted a mass in Bahrain. Bahraini Premier League
The Bahraini Premier League is the main domestic football competition in the kingdom of Bahrain. Currently known as the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League, the first season was held in 1956-1957. The winners of the domestic championship qualify for the AFC Champions League Two. The championship is currently contested by 12 clubs. Structure Current structure 12 clubs currently play a two round robin set of fixtures totaling 22 games in order to determine the league champions. Although games are theoretically to be played on a home and away basis, almost all games are played at the National Stadium. Hakeem Al-Araibi
Hakeem Ali Mohammed Ali al-Araibi (; born 7 November 1993) is a Bahraini footballer who plays for St Albans Saints. He played for local club Al-Shabab and in the Bahraini national team before he fled as a dissident and refugee when the team was in Qatar in January 2014. He has played for various teams in Victoria since 2015, and since 2022 has played for St Albans Saints in NPL Victoria. He also holds a permanent position as Community and Human Rights Advocate with Football Victoria. He became an Australian citizen in 2019. In November 2018, he was arrested on arrival in Thailand for a vacation from Australia, on the basis of an Interpol " red notice" issued by Bahrain.
