Al-Qadir University Project Trust is a non-profit organization founded on December 26, 2019 by Imran Khan. The trust works to provide poverty relief and promote education and healthcare. History The Al-Qadir Trust was founded in 2019 by Imran Khan, who served as Prime Minister of Pakistan from 2018 to 2022 . He is the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The groundbreaking ceremony for the Al-Qadir University took place on 5 May 2019, at Sohawa, at which the prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, laid the university's foundation stone. The trust was established to provide relief to the poor and needy in Pakistan. The trust's first project was to build a school in the village of Mianwali. The school was named after Khan's father, who was a teacher. Imran Khan
Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi (born 5 October 1952) is a Pakistani politician, philanthropist, and former cricketer who served as the 19th prime minister of Pakistan from August 2018 until April 2022. He was the founder of the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its chairman from 1996 to 2023. Born in Lahore, Khan graduated from Keble College, Oxford. He began his international cricket career in a 1971 Test series against England. Sohawa
Sohawa is a town in the Punjab province of Pakistan, and is the capital of the Sohawa Tehsil, which is an administrative subdivision of Jhelum District in Punjab. Sohawa has grown from a small village in 1947 to a large town in 2014, with major developments in transport, education and health. Most of the bureaucrats, army officers, judges and high officials belong to Sohawa areas. It is also the death place of Muhammad of Ghor. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is a political party in Pakistan established in 1996 by cricketer and politician Imran Khan, who served as the country's prime minister from 2018 to 2022. National Accountability Bureau
The National Accountability Bureau (; abbreviated NAB) is Pakistan's anti-corruption agency. Its chairman is Nazir Ahmed Butt, a retired general. History The Ehtesab Act, 1997 established an Ehtesab Cell, charged with the investigation and prosecution of corruption. Under the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999, the NAB was established as the cell's successor, and given the additional responsibility of preventing and raising awareness of corruption.
