AGCFF Gulf Club Champions League
The AGCFF Gulf Club Champions League (), formerly known as the GCC Champions League, is a regional football competition governed by the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) for clubs from its eight member nations. The Asian Super Cup was an annual football competition between the winners of the Asian Club Championship and the Asian Cup Winners' Cup. The competition started in 1995, but came to an end in 2002 after both major AFC tournaments were merged into the AFC Champions League. The Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup, formerly known as the Saudi Federation Cup, was an association football competition organized by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. History The competition was founded in the 1975–76 season, with Al-Nassr as the first champion. Initially, it was for senior teams, but the rules were later changed to allow only players under 23 years of age. However, after a few years and a lack of spectator interest, the competition was reopened to players of all ages. The Saudi Crown Prince's Cup () was the oldest Saudi Arabian annual cup competition. History The cup was the oldest and first domestic football competition in Saudi Arabia; the first edition was held in 1956–57; five editions were played between regional teams and were not at the club level; the cup was not held in a lot of periods (1965-66'', ''1970-1972'', ''1975-1990).
