Al-Lumi
Al-Lumi () is a small village in Jabal Iyal Yazid District of 'Amran Governorate, Yemen. It is located on the slopes of Jabal Iyal Yazid, 3km north-northeast of Da‘‘an. History The earliest known mention of al-Lumi in historical sources is in 1068 (460 AH). Historical sources mentioning it include the '' Ghayat al-amani'' of Yahya ibn al-Husayn, the ''Kitab al-Simt'' of Muhammad ibn Hatim al-Yami al-Hamdani Muhammad (8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious and political leader and the founder of Islam. The Republic of Yemen is divided into twenty-one governorates ('' muhafazah'') and one municipality ( amanah): The governorates are subdivided into 333 districts (''muderiah''), which are subdivided into 1,996 sub-districts, and then into 40,793 villages and 88,817 sub villages (as of 2013). Before 1990, Yemen existed as two separate entities. South Yemen consisted of modern Aden, Abyan, Mahrah, Dhale, Hadramaut, Socotra, Lahij, and Shabwah Governorates, while the rest made up North Yemen. Muhammad Ibn Hatim Al-Yami Al-Hamdani
Muhammad (8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious and political leader and the founder of Islam. According to Islam, he was a prophet who was divinely inspired to preach and confirm the monotheistic teachings of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. He is believed to be the Seal of the Prophets in Islam, and along with the Quran, his teachings and normative examples form the basis for Islamic religious belief. Muhammad was born in Mecca to the aristocratic Banu Hashim clan of the Quraysh. He was the son of Abdullah ibn Abd al-Muttalib and Amina bint Wahb. His father, Abdullah, the son of tribal leader Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim, died around the time Muhammad was born. His mother Amina died when he was six, leaving Muhammad an orphan.
