Al-Izhar Pondok Labu (AIPL) is a moderate Islamic K-12 school in Pondok Labu, South Jakarta, Indonesia. It consists of a kindergarten, primary school, junior secondary school and senior secondary school. It is a National Plus school and the language of instruction is Indonesian. The school's motto is ''Beriman, Mandiri, Kreatif, Nasionalis'' or Pious, Independent, Creative, Nationalist. History AIPL was founded by Bustanil Arifin, a former Minister of Cooperation and Small and Medium Enterprises. It was established in 1974, beginning with its kindergarten program, officially opened by the Minister of Education at the time, Fuad Hassan. The following year, the school opened a primary school. K-1 is a professional kickboxing promotion established in 1993 by karateka Kazuyoshi Ishii. Originally under the ownership of the Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG), K-1 was considered to be the largest Kickboxing organization in the world. The organization was known for its heavyweight division fights and Grand Prix tournaments. K-1 also promoted mixed martial arts events, with some events having both kickboxing and MMA matches on their cards (such as their K-1 Premium Dynamite!!, Dynamite!! series). The promotion has also held several tournaments under K-2 and K-3 banners from 1993 to 1995. FEG would later face financial issues in the 2010s, and eventually went bankrupt in 2012. RAN is an Indonesian pop rock band formed in Jakarta, Indonesia in November 2006. The group comprises Rayi Putra Rahardjo (vocals/rap), Astono "Asta" Andoko (guitars), and Anindyo "Nino" Baskoro (vocals), the group name taken from the members' initials. Their music combines elements of jazz, R&B, rock, hip-hop, and funk. They released their debut album, ''RAN for Your Life,'' in 2007, from which the successful single "Pandangan Pertama" was taken. Puteri Indonesia 2008 (sometimes called Miss Indonesia Universe 2008) was the 13th edition of Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant. The grand final election was held in the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, on the evening of 15 August 2008. The event was sponsored by Charles Bonar Sirait, Choky Sitohang (1st runner-up Puteri Indonesia 2004), Nadia Mulya, and Melanie Putria Dewita Sari (Puteri Indonesia 2002).
