Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir (born 16 September 1986), commonly known as Akmal Nasir, is a Malaysian people, Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of Energy Transition and Public Utilities (Malaysia), Deputy Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation under Minister Fadillah Yusof since December 2023 and previously served as the Minister of Local Government Development (Malaysia), Deputy Minister of Local Government Development under Minister Nga Kor Ming from December 2022 to December 2023 in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Singapore. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, few provinces in the Philippines and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. 2018 Malaysian General Election
General elections were held in Malaysia on Wednesday, 9 May 2018. At stake were all 222 seats in the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of parliament. The 13th Parliament was dissolved by Prime Minister Najib Razak on 7 April 2018. It would have been automatically dissolved on 24 June 2018, five years after the first meeting of the first session of the 13th Parliament of Malaysia on 24 June 2013.
