Akkineni Lakshmi Vara Prasada Rao
Akkineni Laxmi Vara Prasada Rao (17 January 1907 – 22 June 1994), known professionally as L. V. Prasad, was an Indian film director, producer, actor, and businessman. He was one of the pioneers of Indian cinema and is the recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest Award for films in India. In 1980, he was awarded the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, for his contribution to Telugu cinema. He founded ''Prasads Group'' in 1956, which include the Prasad Art Pictures, Prasad Studios, Prasad's IMAX and L. V. Prasad Eye Institute. He was elected as the President of The South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce for the year 1982–83. The Government of India released a Commemorative postage stamp in his memory in 2006. Akkineni Ramesh Prasad
Akkineni Ramesh Prasad (born 30 September 1936) is an Indian businessman and film producer, best known for his role as the chairman of Prasad Studios and Prasads Multiplex. He is credited with advancing the technical capabilities of Indian cinema. The son of filmmaker L. V. Prasad, Ramesh Prasad earned an engineering degree in the United States before founding Prasad Film Laboratories in Madras in 1974. Under his leadership, Prasad Film Laboratories became one of India's largest and most respected post-production facilities, with 12 branches across major cities, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, and international offices in Singapore, Dubai, and the United States. The laboratory has won the National Award for Best Cinematography eight times for laboratory processing. Akkineni Sreekar Prasad is an Indian film editor known for his works across Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Assamese language films. In a career spanning more than 35 years, he has edited over 600 films. He is a recipient of nine National Film Awards including seven wins for Best Editing which is a record in that category. He also won five Kerala State Film Awards, two Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, and four Filmfare Awards among others. Akkineni Nageswara Rao (20 September 1924 – 22 January 2014), known as ANR, was an Indian actor and film producer in Telugu cinema. Over his seven decade career, he became a prominent figures in the industry, and is among most influential actors of Indian cinema. Nageswara Rao received seven state Nandi Awards, five Filmfare Awards South and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award. He was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest recognition in Indian cinema, in 1990.
