Akihiro (Marvel Comics)
Akihiro is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Akihiro was created by writer Daniel Way and artist Steve Dillon and first appeared in '' Wolverine: Origins'' #5 (August 2006). Akihiro is the mutant son of Wolverine and his deceased wife Itsu, possessing superhuman abilities similar to his father (e.g., healing factor, retractable claws) as well as pheromone manipulating powers. Raised by Romulus as a ruthless killer, Akihiro was conditioned to hate Wolverine, blaming his father for his supposed abandonment, his mother's death and traumatic childhood and took his childhood slur Daken as his codename. In American comic books published by Marvel Comics, a mutant is a human being that possesses a genetics, genetic trait called the X-gene. It causes the mutant to develop Superpower (ability), superhuman powers that manifest at puberty. Dawn Of X
"Dawn of X" is a 2019 relaunch of the ''X-Men'' line of comic books published by Marvel Comics in the wake of the twin miniseries ''House of X'' and ''Powers of X'' and is the first phase of the Krakoan Age.
