Akihiko Ureshino
is a light novel author and game designer, born April 19, 1971, in the Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. He wrote his first novel while he was attending Yokohama National University for a degree in Liberal Arts. He is known to Japanese SNK fans for his game novelizations of ''The King of Fighters'' series and other games. He also partakes in the story development for the series, and is the one who usually writes the online novels found on the games' websites. Akihiko Ureshino's other works include ''The Black Steel Demon Crest Repairer'', ''She is a War Fairy'', and ''Mephisto's Magic Bullet''. Works and commentary Ureshino is known for writing several ''The King of Fighters'' works based on SNK games he also oversees. After working in 10 ''KOF'' novelizations, Ureshino noted that SNK used leads Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami too much and believed they should be given a rest after ''The King of Fighters '97''. ''Fatal Fury'', known as in Japan, is a fighting game series developed by SNK, first released on the Neo Geo system. Gameplay The original ''Fatal Fury'' is known for the two-plane system. Characters fight from two different planes. By stepping between the planes, attacks can be dodged with ease. Later games have dropped the two-plane system, replacing it with a complex system of dodging, including simple half second dodges into the background and a three plane system. Characters have moves that can attack across the two planes, attack both planes at once, or otherwise attack dodge characters. Chitty Chitty Series
The Chitty, also known as the Chetty or Chetti Melaka, are an ethnic group whose members are of primarily Tamil descent, found mainly and initially in Melaka, Malaysia, where they settled around the 16th century, and in Singapore where they migrated to in the 18th and 19th centuries from Melaka. Also known colloquially as "Indian Peranakans", the culture of the Chitty has drawn significant influence from the Nusantara region and to a small extent the Chinese, whilst also retaining their Hindu faith and heritage. Previously debuted as a non-playable character in '' Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory'' Rock makes his first playable appearance in the 1999 fighting game '' Garou: Mark of the Wolves'', a sixth canonical chapter in the ''Fatal Fury'' series, as the new lead character of the ''Wolves'' sub-entry storylines.
