Akef Al-Fayez
Akef Mithqal Al-Fayez (Arabic: عاكف مثقال الفايز, ''Akif Al Fayiz''; 15 September 1922 – 8 April 1998) was a Jordanian politician born in Amman, Jordan. He held several ministerial positions and became speaker of the Jordanian Parliament for several sessions and a member of the Jordanian Senate. Akif Šeremet (19 September 1895 – 19 April 1939) was a Bosnian communist activist, known as the "Red Professor". A member of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia since its inception in 1919, Šeremet remained active in various communist groups throughout the interwar period before being arrested in Moscow during the Great Purge and executed after nearly a year of imprisonment. Mohammed Mahdi Akef
Mohammed Mahdi Akef (; July 12, 1928 – September 22, 2017) was the head of the Muslim Brotherhood, an Egypt-based Islamic political movement, from 2004 until 2010. He assumed the post, that of "general guide" () (frequently translated as "chairman") upon the death of his predecessor, Ma'mun al-Hudaybi. Akef was arrested on 4 July 2013.
